What’s Kokkoro?

Kokkoro, the Hodogaya Ward Child-Care Support Center, is a place where preschoolers, moms & dads, grandparents or guardians spend fun time together. Expecting mothers and fathers are also welcome.
There is a playroom with many toys and picture books, babies room, and eating area. Nursing room and diaper change tables are also available.
You can get various information on childcare at the information corner or through communication with other Kokkoro visitors and staff.
Consultation with specialists like nursery teachers, nurse and nutritionist are also available (consultation is available only in Japanese).
Many families from foreign countries comes to Kokkoro.

Registration is needed on your first visit. Please fill out the application form at reception desk. (Registration is required for each child.)
A membership card for each child will be issued.

Entrance into Kokkoro may be restricted if necessary.
